About Rainbow Elmwood History W. Mark Sexson
This Web Site acknowledges allegiance to the Supreme Assembly, International Order Of The Rainbow for Girls, whose seat of authority is in McAlester, Oklahoma, of which Reverend W. Mark Sexson was founder and Mrs. Pauline Stonehocker, of Gaffney, South Carolina is Supreme Worthy Advisor and to the Grand Jurisdiction of Texas of which Mrs. Marlene Dibrell, of Dallas, Texas is Supreme Deputy and Miss Lila Kerr, of Nacogdoches, Texas is Grand Worthy Advisor.
The
International Order Of the Rainbow For Girls is a youth group for girls between
the ages of 6-11 for Pledge Sisters
and 11-20 for Rainbow Girls. This youth group, The International Order Of
The Rainbow For Girls, is only affiliated with Masonic Lodges, Order Of The
Eastern Star Chapters, Courts of Amaranth and White Shrine Of Jerusalem.
Girls are
NOT required to have a Masonic affiliation to be a member of
this organization. Many groups and organizations use the
name of Rainbow in their title or organizational name. We are NOT
associated with any other group than the four listed above.
